Hurrah! I've set your account to AUTHOR status so you should be able to do most everything you need to produce a nice article. You can always enter your content and images and NOT PUBLISH but PREVIEW it as many times as you desire before finally placing it online. So it is not an all or nothing sort of thing. In addition you can always UNPUBLISH an article and work on it some more and then PUBLISH again. It is a totally fluid environment.

I'm starting out with baby steps - posting a comment!!! I definitely think a blog is a good idea for CATS. It will just take a little time for people to learn how to use it. Thanks Eric for your patience. Next step . . . an article.

As some of you know we send COMPLIMENTARY newsletters to a handful of other clubs and vendors. One of these recipients has expressed interest in using a BLOG like this one for her club's newsletter. So she registered and logged and created this article.

At tonight's annual holiday party others who have tried to blog also expressed a wish to keep it open, so it will stay until someone tells me otherwise.

If you have questions about how to use this blog you may find an answer in the FAQs section available along the top edge of the screen. In that area you will find questions and video clips designed to walk you through how to address that question. Enjoy!

One last thing. If you have an idea for an article and don't think you have enough to write just yet, you have two options:

1. Start the article but keep it in draft mode until you feel confident releasing it for publication.

2. Write what you have thus far and publish it. Then go back later and edit what you have already published. It's that easy.

I am told that at least one club member has an article ready for publication and will let us know whether she has success in getting it online. Let's wish her luck.
